Brian (the hubby) or as I fondly call him MacGyver – because he is the most resourceful person I know, has successfully framed 46 paintings for my upcoming show in July. We have 9 more watercolors to go, whew! the toughest part will be to put together the perfect 40 for the show. My last instructor’s advice was to have many to choose from to find the best of the best. He was so right…again. ;-)
OK then, it’s official. Let it be known… Posts from the Pig Parlor will be the new name for my blog. Let me attach a photo of the sign for everyone to “get it.” We researched the sign online to see if there was any history behind it, or a date, but no luck.

The rain has stopped, the clouds are hopefully moving out, let’s get this Summer weather started already! My Summer and Fall schedules for art classes are going up. Please contact me for a registration form.
Brian ( the hubby) thinks I should name it the “Posts from the Pig Parlor.” While renovating our 100 yr old mill, we came across this sign “Purina Pig Parlor” and dubbed the studio/greeting area the Pig Parlor. What do ya think? It ceratinly takes away any stuffiness associated with artist’s studios and their blogging.
