Art school ownership changes June 1st.

I am excited to announce that as of June 1st, 2011, I will be the new owner and Executive Director of the Kewaunee Academy of Fine Art (KAFA).  I have a fabulous staff and student body, with a great line up of workshops and full time/part time classes available. This summer we will have plein aire workshops, the nude in nature, and a youth workshop covering ample subjects to get your student moving in the right direction. This Fall we will be working on adding sculpture, watercolor and the clothed/costumed model to the already well-rounded curriculum. Any questions ?… please feel free to email me.

Last Night for class

The high school girls finished up the Fall session last night with their first figure drawing. MacGyver was their live model. This is my demo in charcoal.democaitlinsamanthakatiehigh school girlsfinishing touches Drawing from life is very challenging, but they dove in head on and we are very proud of their accomplishments. They only had about 2 1/2 hours to spend on this. More drawing and painting from life in the next session.
