What a beautiful day it was to paint…breezy, dramatic skies, and air so fresh and fragrant you could close your eyes and name off the flowers and trees close by. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

5 days at a music festival with MacGyver (no kids) = PRICELESS
90+ degrees in the frozen tundra just doesn’t seem right. How’s MacGyver supposed to finish sandblasting in this heat?
5 paintings left to frame…I’ll have that finished later today. Tomorrow I choose my 40+ paintings for the show in Cedarburg, I’ll label them this weekend. and Monday I deliver. It’s hard to believe I’ve had a year and a half to produce these works, but as I look at all the seasons that are represented I realize that time just went by quickly.
So …I treasure morning coffee, some reflecting time and a quiet house. Did I mention I have 5 kids? So why is it that in the summer, those kids that I couldn’t wake up for anything during the school year, are bright eyed by 7am?
Hmmm, 9:44, I just framed 5 pieces of art, it’s wine time. OK, now let’s see if this get’s to FB.
