Thank you Wisconsin Watercolor Society for hosting my demo on Saturday morning in Milwaukee. It was wonderful to have all the artists present and be able to meet and share watercolor tips and secrets. Here is the finished painting of my demo. The big decision was…background or no background??? You can see I chose a background, I felt it needed one to finish the look. Please join me and the Wisconsin Watercolor Society at our spring show at the Rahr West Museum in Manitowoc. The reception is May 22 from 1-4pm, and the dates of the show are May 22-June 19, 2011.

He’s all ready for his clearcoat and then will be installed the beginning of June.

So, you ask, what exactly is she talking about? I have been selected to paint two sculptures this Spring that will be on display here in Northeast Wisconsin! One will be a Bear (Titled: The Bear Necesseities) and benefit the Einstein Project in Green Bay which supplies science kits to local schools, and the other is a Walleye (titled: A Fish for All Seasons) to be displayed along the beautiful riverfront in DePere. Stay tuned for pictures of the creatures as my designs bring them to life!!!
